Dating back to 1673, the Malt Shovel is the archetype of a classic country pub, but is located only a stone's throw from Dartford town centre. We serve an impressive range of cask and keg beers, wines and spirits, as well as excellent traditional pub food. We also boast a variety of live entertainment, as well as facilities for private hire and functions.
Well-behaved dogs are very welcome both indoors and out!
The kitchen is open at the following times:
Mon-Tue: closed
Wed: dinner only (5.30-9pm)
Thu-Sat: lunch (12-3pm) and dinner (5.30-9pm)
Sun: Sunday lunch (12-6pm)
If you're looking for somewhere to watch England v Norway, we'll be showing coverage from 8.45pm and providing a free buffet at 9pm! Just get in touch to reserve a place, as this evening is by advance booking only.
